The Mouth Stick Stylus

The Faraday Mouth Stick Stylus is modeled after tradition mouth held manipulators but with our fabrit tips to allow interaction with touch screen devices.

The body of the stylus is made from anodized aluminum for strength and low weight and is shipped cut to length in 1″ increments. The mouth end is covered in food safe vinyl tubing for control and comfort, and while we do not have the facilities to manufacture differently shaped bite plates we can work with physical therapists or dentist to enable fitting our stylus to your prefered bite plate.

The tips are made from our conductive fabric, which in addition to touch screen connectivity is tough enough for many of the functions of traditional mouth held manipulators, particularly manipulating other computer and electronic controls.

We also offer email support for any of our customers who need assistance in overcoming the issues that can arise trying to use touch screen devices that were originally designed to be held in the hand.

Likely Users

The Faraday Mouth Stick was primarily designed for people with quadriplegia or who otherwise do not have use of their arms.

Unexpected Users

As the longest option for a touch screen stylus, the Mouth Stick has also been useful for users that need extra long reach. It has also been modified to mount to braces, casts, and prosthetics, but this is best done by a licenced physical therapist or doctor.
